Access Control & Biometric Systems in Chennai

Know who enters, and when

Keys get copied, lost and never returned. An access control system replaces them with credentials you can issue and cancel in seconds — a fingerprint, a face, an RFID card or a phone — and it records every entry automatically.

RS Technologies designs and installs access control for offices, factories, warehouses, server rooms, apartments and homes across Chennai, from a single biometric door to multi-building systems.

Choosing the right credential

Many sites combine two — for example, face recognition at the main entrance and cards for the parking barrier.

• Fingerprint — affordable and familiar; best for offices with a stable team
• Face recognition — touch-free and fast; well suited to busy entrances and staff who wear gloves or have worn fingerprints, common in factories
• RFID card or tag — quick to issue and cancel; ideal for visitors, contractors and parking
• PIN and mobile credentials — useful as a backup or for remote unlocking

Access control and attendance on one system

The same device that opens the door can record attendance. Shift timings, late arrivals and overtime come out as reports your HR or payroll team can use directly, instead of reconciling a register at month end.

Safety comes first

A locked door must never trap people. On escape routes we design locks to release automatically on a fire alarm or power failure, and provide an emergency exit button and manual override. We also plan battery backup so the system keeps working through normal power cuts.

Where it is used

• Offices — main entrance, server room, records and cash rooms
• Factories and warehouses — staff entry, restricted production or storage zones, with attendance
• Apartments and gated communities — lobby doors, gyms and clubhouses
• Schools, hospitals and labs — staff-only and restricted areas
• Homes and villas — keyless main doors with smart locks
